Example 2: XYZ

Like the y, xy plots also a xyz plot can be
generated directly from the log files:
Just type at the Command Prompt:
>>
plotxyz('x-tagname','y-tagname’,'z-tagname','From’,’To') e.g.
>> plotxyz('J9J01S1','J9J01I1','J9J01I2','22-may-03','29-may-03')
and you will get something like the plot below:
To see the plot from a different angle, just
press the rightmost menu button Rotate 3D, and move mouse down into
the
graph. Press the left mouse button and you can, by dragging, rotate the
whole plot in live motion.
XYZ plots are useful when you have 3 correlated
variables, and want to see the relationship.
